If your Spotify app has been acting weird lately, you’re not alone. Many users have been facing problems, especially when trying to view artist pages. Things like top tracks, albums, and stream counts have been disappearing or not loading properly.
Spotify responded on X (formerly Twitter), saying they’re aware of the issue and are working to fix it. The company also shared a post on their official support page explaining that some users are unable to view “Top Tracks” on artist profiles and might not see albums listed either.
We’re aware of some issues right now with the app and are checking them out!— Spotify Status (@SpotifyStatus) May 6, 2025
On top of that, a few users mentioned that full discographies and stream counts are also missing from the app.
Right now, the issue seems to be affecting a smaller group of users, mainly in the U.S., but enough people have spoken up that it caught attention. According to Downdetector, reports of the bug started rising recently.
Here in the UK, everything seems to be working fine so far. And while this isn’t as big of a disruption as the major outage Spotify experienced a few weeks ago—where pages weren’t loading at all—it’s still frustrating for those affected.
That earlier outage caused widespread problems across the mobile app and web version, making artist pages, playlists, and even the homepage inaccessible for many.
Since these recent bugs popped up, Spotify has confirmed they’re investigating. The team shared updates on their Spotify Community forum and said they’re working on it. Fingers crossed it doesn’t turn into another full-blown outage.
We’ll keep an eye on the situation and share any new updates as they come in.
